dia.chro.na | Kinetic Engineering #1

Kinetic Engineering is an evening for experimental ambient electronics based in amsterdam. The first output of this idea by Matthijs Kouw & dia.chro.na took place on jan 19th 2006 @ OT301, Amsterdam. Hopefully, by the time you are reading this, there have been more evenings of Kinetic Engineering already.

Dia.chro.na played on the K.I #1. It was a very nice and cozy evening. The crowd showed up in really good numbers. This performance was the first in series of battles between sound and image, between dia.chro.na and new media artist matthijs van henten. Series of images were assembled by matthijs van henten, dia.chro.na and with kind image contribution of marjolein kassenaar.

Assemblage of image and sound for this performance completed @ poeldijk studio's, Amsterdam, january 2006.
